🎭PAY WHAT YOU DECIDE🎭

Here at The Monty, we want everyone to be able to come and see our shows! We pick them because we love them and we want you to love them as well! Read below to find out all about our PWYD scheme!

🎟️What is Pay What You Decide (PWYD)?🎟️

In lots of ways, it’s exactly what it sounds like! We want audience members to be able to choose what suits their budget for the shows that The Monty brings to the theatre. Our accessible Pay What You Decide scheme aims to ensure that the magic of performance is available to all, regardless of income. At the heart of our mission is inclusivity, and we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the arts and one of the ways we do this is with an inclusive ticketing initiative.

🌟 How Does it Work?🌟

At the ticket selection page on the website, for shows that are eligible, you will be given the following options:

£3 Tickets: Tailored for those currently unemployed or reliant on benefits, because we understand that daily needs come first.

£5 Tickets: Striking a balance for those with moderate or unpredictable incomes. If you fall within the low to mid-range of earnings and want to support the arts.

£7 Tickets: Geared towards those seeking a middle ground in terms of income. By selecting this option, you contribute to sustaining the arts while enjoying an accessible ticket price. If you find yourself comfortably situated between moderate and higher incomes, this option is designed with you in mind.

£9 Tickets: Designed for higher earners or those who would like ‘Pay it forward’, we acknowledge your support in making the arts accessible to everyone.

We also offer free tickets to Sanctuary Seekers through our Youth Theatre of Sanctuary. If you are a Sanctuary Seeker please get in touch with info@themontgomery.org.uk and we can help you find the right tickets for you and your family.

🌞Won’t I Be Treated Differently for Picking a Cheaper Ticket?🌞

Absolutely not! No one is going to check, ask, mention or even acknowledge what kind of ticket you have bought, that’s not the point of the scheme. Our aim is to make sure you can get to see our shows regardless of any personal financial circumstance. All we care about is that if you book a ticket that you definitely use it so as many people as possible get to see our shows!

Join us in creating a space where art is not limited by financial barriers. Your choice, your experience – the power is in your hands. Let’s redefine the way we enjoy performances together.

🎉What’s not to love? An affordable theatre ticket and you get to be part of a more inclusive cultural community! Winner!🎉
