Youth theatre is the most creative, inspiring, dynamic and powerful way of making a difference to a young person’s life. We provide a safe, accessible and open forum in which young people can express themselves whilst learning about and making theatre. Our work provides a creative voice whilst building confidence and developing skills. Easy Street aims to teach transferable skills including Creativity, Personal Development, Social Development and Communication, as well as theatre skills.

Easy Street Theatre Company is run by volunteers who give up their evenings to facilitate young people in learning skills in the performing Arts. We have 3 different groups, the main theatre group for ages 11-21 rehearse 2 nights a week and generally participate in 2 shows and a play each year including a major musical at the Montgomery Theatre at a cost of £16,000.00. The Junior section for children aged 6-11 performs 2 shows a year, alongside learning drama skills, singing and movement. The 3rd company is a small group of older teenagers who have either left the company because of age of time constraints with school work. They are invited to join because of their talent, commitment and loyalty to the company. They are known as Easy Street Elite. The 3 groups total about 90 children at the moment.
